There are so many great Bucks County things to do around our inn that are not to miss for a relaxing getaway. The countryside near The Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm is very picturesque and if you’d prefer to do your sightseeing from the comfort of your car, there are a few self-guided driving tours to add to your itinerary:

Barn Voyage!

The Heritage Conservancy has put together a driving tour of Bucks County’s historical barns called Barn Voyage! Many of the barns on this tour were around during the American Revolution and have contributed to Bucks County’s history. There are almost 20 barns on this tour which are either privately owned, have been renovated into retail or public space, or preserved by the Heritage Conservancy.

Covered Bridges of Bucks County

There are more than 10 covered bridges in Bucks County, many built as early as 1832 and some spanning more than 100 feet long. Put it in gear and drive your car directly through history on this bridge tour along the Delaware River.
